Krylia Sovetov hosted the match of the 14th tour vs. Spartak. In spite of the numerous goal-scoring opportunities, the match ended in a goalless draw. Yury Gazzaev commented upon the match:

“The players were all devoted to the game. Spartak had more goal-scoring opportunities, but we also had quite a few. I can’t say tat we were only defending. We tried to control the ball and do our best to win.”

“The team didn’t gain any mastery after the break. The attacks were all spontaneous…”

“I have decided everything for myself and I came here to say thank you.”

“Will you stay in the team?”

“No, no. The team had big problems and still has, I couldn’t leave it in the hardest period, but now, in spite of everything, the team ha started playing better: they played well vs. Rubin, vs. CSKA and Spartak.”

“So you are leaving?”

“Yes.”
