A collaboration agreement for football development in Samara region was signed today in Konoplev Football Academy in Togliatti. This is an unprecedented document in Russian sports. Four sides: government, business corporation, best football school in Russia and one of the most popular Russian football clubs are taking joint responsibility for developing football in Samara region. The signees are Samara region Governor Vladimir Artyakov, General Director of Rostechnologii State Corporation Sergey Chemezov, Chairman of the Board of National Football Academy Fund Sergey Kapkov and FC Krylia Sovetov General Director Yury Makeev.
Rostechnologii provides the facilities of Torpedo stadium, owned by the corporation, for the sake of football development of the region. The regional government will in their turn assist the football federation of Samara in developing football and training young footballers.
National Football Academy Fund and Konoplev Football Academy will contribute to the development of young players, launching of football schools and classes for physical education of children and youths and for preparation of professional footballers. From 2010 all the graduates of Konoplev Football Academy make up the majority of Krylia Sovetov youth team and Krylia Sovetov takes the responsibility for their future football career. From 24 till 27 June Krylia Sovetov will have a training camp in Konoplev football Academy. 27 June at 14.30 a friendly match between Krylia Soovetov FC and FC Togliatti will be played at one of the natural fields of the Academy. In the season 2010 the city Togliatti will be represented by one united team which will aim at promotion into the first division.
